Good/Bad websites

What makes a website good/bad?

    The two examples I have chosen are both from well known authors. The first example, is Chunka Mui, his website sells his platform perfectly. What makes this authors website stand out is the bold colors that are contrasted by the white space design. As it emphasizes the authors brand and content to be nicely laid out. 

    The second example is Suzanna Collins website. The problems with her site can be numerous: with having a poor layout, a drab voices of color, and the misuse of having the white-space. It’s not very appealing to the eye and its one page that you constantly have to keep scrolling down for more information, with random information posted as well.
